A style for men, the Oil Rig sunglasses boast intrinsic stem architecture and flawlessly sculpted dimensional grooves, creating a jagged effect to the frame. The Oil Rig sunglasses are made using the durable and lightweight O Matter frame material and the unique geometries curve the frame so that medium-size faces can wear the Oil Rig sunglasses and achieve a perfect and precise fit. The sculpturally integrated hinges are engineered with dual cam action, and the streamlined ear stems provide a comfortably secure grip. The Oil Rig sunglasses are available in statement colours such as white with text print, brown smoke and polished black to name only a few. The Oil Rig sunglasses feature a single and continuous lens and incorporate the technology of Oakley’s High Definition Optics, Polaric Ellipsoid lens geometry to maintain clarity and curved lenses for optimal side protection and extended peripheral view. The lens is made of Plutonite which effectively filters out 100 percent of all UVA, UVB and UVC rays. Some lenses are also available with an iridium coating to reduce glare and balance light transmission, and some styles within the Oil Rig collection feature Polarised lenses for the ultimate in visual quality. The collection also features the exclusive Nicky Hayden Signature Series Oil Rig sunglasses which have been designed specifically for Nicky Hayden, the 2006 MotoGP World Champion. These sunglasses include custom graphics, Nicky’s unique racing number and his laser etched signature positioned at the corner of the lens.
